   Bert Kliban is one of my all-time favorites. Glancing up at my bookshelf, I see copies of “Cat,” “Whack Your Porcupine,” and “Never Eat Anything Bigger Than Your Head.” Like many of my other favorite “inkslingers,” as you put it, Kliban was quirky, eccentric, and an astute observer (and chronicler) of all things curious and absurd.

   I’m also a huge fan of Gahan Wilson, Robert Crumb, Ralph Steadman, and – increasingly – R.L. Crabb. Keep up the good work, Bob.
