The Yellow River

The Yuba was closed last week, due to high Ecoli bacteria and a mysterious yellow plume that ran from Washington to the Englebright reservoir. The river’s popularity brings thousands of fans to it’s secluded beaches and remote swimming holes, and tons of garbage and fecal matter.

Although the plume and bacteria have receded and the river reopened, only the hardiest and dumbest will be taking the dive until nature and Old Man Winter flushes it clean.
