    Sounds suspiciously like the 80’s TV drama “QUIMBY” about the forensic politician, played brilliantly by Wally Cox, who toured the backroads of the US in his 1965 Rambler Ambassador, searching for failed social programs in an attempt to restore America’s lost moral compass. (A failed spin-off, Quimby Down Under, later became a hit movie, though the plot was somewhat changed.)
