    There is a huge table-top rock, about 15′ x 30′, at a ranch I worked at down McCourtney Road that was covered with these holes. Must have been 2 dozen on the face of the flat rock. Didn’t take much imagination to conjure the women sitting around grinding acorns and passing the time of day.
    I don’t know if they ever reported the site to local researchers; that was quite a while ago.
