Bob, according to the Village Moron, Todd Juvinall, you are a Taliban terrorist. Yikes!

“RL Crabb is the Taliban leader of Nevada County. Looks like his ilk ripped down a statue in Durham last night too. Next the Crosses in the Catholic cemetery. Good job there RL. Driving America into the ground again.

    Bob,

In our lifetime this word has come into common misuse, so now it’s a word.
I have seen this happening to our language over the years.
Ignorant types who misuse words until they become accepted are unwitting contributors to the decline of the English language.
You can fact check this defiition of “ilk” with Mr. Rebane, who actually speaks proper English, and he’s not even American born.

    Wiki:
“In modern use, ilk is used in phrases such as of his ilk, of that ilk, to mean ‘type’ or ‘sort.’ The use arose out of a misunderstanding of the earlier, Scottish use in the phrase of that ilk, where it means ‘of the same name or place.’ For this reason, some traditionalists regard the modern use as incorrect. It is, however, the only common current use and is now part of standard English.”
