   Actually, he couldn’t care less, as long as all eyes are on him.

   And he’s not going anywhere soon; not as long as democrats keep bringing croissants to the gun fight. A war of words plays right into his sweet spot.

     If you click through and read the full memo it is an interesting read. I think this issue of how one encourages political ideological diversity within an organization while protecting peoples individual sense of purpose in the work place has become increasingly difficult as our politics have polarized.

     It was easier when the difference between center-left and center-right was tax policy, market access, and the scope of the social welfare state in a market economy; issues that can be debated theoretically. The issues have become race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration, religion; issues that are deeply personal and core to identity.
