Merry Widow Gazette On The Streets!

Merry Widow Cover206No, you are not seeing spots. Mardi Gras is almost upon us, which means that the Merry Widows are loose on the streets with the 2013 edition of The Merry Widow Gazette. This year’s theme has something to do with leopards for no apparent reason other than they like to dress up in cat skins. (Don’t have a cow, PETA, it’s all fake fur.)

The Widows are a non-profit group that raises money from the paper’s advertising to award scholarships to single parents. This year they’ve passed the $50,000 mark in awards. Congratulations, ladies!

The Gazette can be found in most enlightened businesses in the Grass Valley-Nevada City area. See you at the parade on February 10th.

Is that also a fake Merry Widow?

    RL,
Love the cat skins, and if they add some fishnet stockings here and there…well, zowee!
    Can’t wait for the date…
