   Three questions:

   Is the Rock running to further his quest to walk in Ahnold’s footsteps?

   Is Gary Coleman running again?

   Would it be politically expedient to just make the governor’s office a two year term in CA? Or every office in government at any level?

   At last count, all 70 of the remaining California Republicans will be on the ballot. If Gavin lost the vote to stay in office, you could end up with a governor who won with 10% of the electorate. At least we won’t have to suffer through a ranked ballot. In California we wouldn’t know who won until the next election.
