How Many Dumbos Does It Take To Pick A Speaker?

A power that all are reluctant to hold, but reluctant to give to anyone else.

No Grass

Every day the city crews are out there gobbling up more parking spaces to make room for outdoor dining. Who really wants to sit next to a busy street inhaling exhaust fumes while you down a burger and craft brew?

It’s a plot, I tell you. They are taking away the roads, little by little, and pushing us farther from the freedom we once had to park in front of the business of our choice. Soon you’ll have to park on the outskirts of town and hire Uber to be dropped off where you can actually buy your widgets and gimcracks, and maybe have a hotdog.

Will the city use the three-eighths, or five-sixteenths or whatever tax they end up putting on the ballot for legit fire prevention, or their fiendish scheme to defoliate our town in the name of false security?

The Last Taste Of Summer

Yes, we’re down to the bottom of the barrel. It’s back to tasteless pulp or $5 heirlooms from the supermarket. Sad.
