Here’s a take on Nevada City I did a few years ago. Not much has changed, except I don’t think there are any Republicans left in the city limits…

    Although non-profits may have replaced real estate at the top of the heap.

    I was going to say , non profits and artists (music, acting, painting, poets, writers, ect…) of some sort. Other than that pretty darn close.

    Artistic culture growing, and real estate agents on the decline; I’d say that’s the best news about my home town that I’ve heard in quite a while. From the blogs I’ve read, I was starting to wonder if the self-appointed protectors of the physical plain hadn’t taken control.
