   We now have 4 cats, here on the farm, and each one of them we were told came from rat-catching parents, and not one of ’em will patrol the barnyard. Our 2 dogs kill more rats than the 4 cats, mostly because rats fight back; cats don’t like that and dogs don’t care.

   Still trying to find out where they are getting in. New cat isn’t interested. Our old cat Clovis was a real killer. Since he left after his 9th life, it hasn’t been the same.
