After much yelling, screaming, conniving, and wringing of hands, the House of Representatives passed the infrastructure bill with the aid of a handful of Republicans. Is it perfect? Not by a long shot, but it shows that occasionally the two parties can get something going in this era of hate, distrust and confusion.
Whether it will help Joe recover from the public perception that he’s a doddering old fool remains to be seen, but it’s a start.
