Since everyone is arguing the number of scripts for MM in Nevada County, I thought I’d throw in my two cents worth.

Kudos Crabbman. I have not heard the term number in quite a (dry) spell. Roll a number, buy a lid, watching out for those popping seeds and don’t Bogart that joint my friend. Some say if you can remember the 60’s, you weren’t part of it.
The reason I posted Hey Jude has nothing to do with numbers or anything in particular. Just liked that version of the song. At least I did not post “One toke over the line” even though it has the number one in the title.
All this marijuana talk brings me back. At least no one here has pointed out that our area has gone to pot. That would be so old.

Roll a number, great one Crabbie. Here is a song dedicated to both sides of the current boohalaa.

One of those odd issues that should fit into both liberal AND conservative agendas; liberals for recognizing the scientific, healing, and creative power of a weed that harms no one, and conservatives in that we really don’t need our government telling us whether or not we have the freedom to consume a substance we can grow in our own gardens.

Then again; I was given my MM card by my doctor to ease my arthritis, and the shit’s so strong these days that I spent the afternoon expecting to be busted, even though I knew I was legal. Guess I’ve been permanently brain washed by the imbeciles who outlawed it in the first place. Either that, or I have a hard enough time functioning w/o it these days. Too bad, ’cause it sure eased my pain.

Then there’s the 80 yr old lady with cancer next door, and she and her red-necked husband say it’s the only thing keeping her going. God bless her for that, and damn the people who want to take it away from her.

People who are against come around real quick when it is their turn to be sick or in pain. It is an odd issue indeed. I would think conservatives would be all over it but hey it was the so called conservatives that brought us the enormous federal government in the 80’s with the Reagan revolution, and then again with W’s war on on an emotion that brought us two unpaid for wars along with gargantuan police state of DHS. I think all natural (non chemical formulated drugs) should be decriminalized with manageable misdemeanor charges/ fines if caught with enough that could be determined intent to sale. It would promote a millions small growers and keep it mostly behind closed doors without over populating our prisons and fueling the war on drugs complex. It saves money and gives the people more freedom while drastically reducing the size and scope of state/ federal government.

Thank you Robert, at least this is a version our pro-S brethren can appreciate 😉

  5. As long as we’re on the subject, I saw The Birds perform this number the night before I reported for induction in the Army in 1966. Just 48 hours later, I was at Fort Jackson, S.C. Strange days indeed.
