   Nice…..figure about 14 minutes per pound @ 350F for a fresh not frozen bird….he oughta be ready sometime in mid March of next year!

     I’m thankful that our community passed a bond a couple years back to build our own medical emergency facility, and that the Portland hospitals 20 miles away were able to convince the state board to stop it’s construction half way through. Heaven forbid I should suffer a heart attack or stroke and miss out on the $1,000, 1/2 hour ride of a lifetime.
     (That, and the fact that the wife and I have enough leftovers to feed a family of 12 for a week.)
