    $3.50 in 1920 is about $43 now. Any enterprising kid in Chicago can probably get a rusty but functional old .38 for that.

      Boys in 1920 had fathers, uncles, older brothers… who had fought in the trenches in the war to end all wars where the heavy machine gun had a brand new role.

      Little boys playacting roles they see in their future probably goes back to the stone age.
