Go back, back, back twenty years and you’ll find Calvin Clark, the voice of the current supervisor recall, setting a fire under then-supervisor Elizabeth Martin. Coming just a year before the general election, Nevada County decided it could wait and save the expense of a special election. (Martin was defeated for a second term.)
Now here we are again, this time targeting all five supes. And after the hijinx at the elections office this past week, you can bet there will be an all-out effort to put a Republican in the Clerk/Recorders office.
